Green Columbus Improves Tree Canopy at CCS

Over the past few months, Green Columbus has been planting trees at all Region 1 Schools in Columbus. These schools are located in areas with historic disinvestment, meaning they lack a tree canopy at the capacity necessary to promote social, emotional, and physical well-being. Improving equitable tree canopy coverage is imperative!
