Annual Tree Giveaway

Since 2019, we have distributed 10,000+ free native trees from our community nurseries located on Columbus Land Bank properties.

Green Columbus currently grows 3,000+ trees every year at our South Linden Tree Nursery and gives them all away to community residents for free.

The trees get distributed all across Central Ohio through giveaways in Franklinton, Linden, and the South Side neighborhoods. Trees are grown in 3-gallon pots and are approximately 4-6 feet tall at the time of distribution.
